72yr mom had second phase of dental implant surgery for dentures (placing abutment) 4 days later she is in pain and her voice is very hoarse. can the hoarseness be from the procedure?

Pain is for sure related to the procedure but hoarseness can be a coincidence rather than related to the dental surgery. I wonder what the anesthesia she received for the procedure, only general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation can cause hoarseness post op.
