A member asked:

My mri showed mild sphenoid sinus disease. i have had post nasal drip for many years and also an enlarged lymph node in the submandibular area of my neck. white blood cell count normal. can sphenoid disease, be the cause of lymph enlargement?

Not usually. Could there be an enlarged submandibular salivary gland instead of a lymph node? Does your ENT specialist follow you for a persistent enlarged lymph node and has a biopsy been recommended or has the size been stable for years?

One consideration would be a chronic dental infection. See your dentist and get started
