Endometrial biopsy done a few days ago. 55 yo with heavier, longer menstrual periods. numerous fibroids. had tvus 3x recently. lining went from 9.7 to 8.7 to 4.5 mm. lmp 9/15/21, got again 12/15/21. first time skipping. chance of cancer high?

Please patient and wait for the biopsy report. The bleeding is likely due to uterine fibroids and you may need treatment such as embolization or myomectomy of the big ones or even hysterectomy. In some cases, the fibroids will shrink and bleeding stops in the menopause.
