Hi . im f 32 height 55 weight 90kg im suffering from swelling in the ankle which goes upto the knee from past 2 months . blood urine, colour doppler , mri all normal . worsen im sitting and standing . relives on elevation. diagnosis??

With overweight venous insufficiency could be the culprit but I am concerned about the systemic diseases such as heart, liver and kidneys, especially the latter which usually manifests with leg edema.Blood in the urine may be absent but heavy protein in the urine is always present if you have leg edema due to kidney disease. Leg edema commonly gets worse with gravity whatever the cause is.
