Call Physician: Injuring your knee and being no weight bearing for a week is a risk factor for developing a blood clot. Blood clots cause leg and ankle swelling and can cause calf pain. Even if there is a very remote risk of a blood clot, you should call your physician right away to be evaluated. My recommendation is you get in contact with your medical provider right away to be evaluated.
