Hi, i took 1600 mg of ibuprofen throughout the whole day for toothache, but learned later the limit is 1200 mg.. i'm a female and 165 lbs. i'm anxious now and was wondering if i am now in potential danger? should i go to the hospital? please help?

No one time extra dose should not harm you. Drink plenty of water and please take all medication as recommended and if the pain is excessive then seek care and follow thier instructions. Hope yor tooth is better now.

You should be fine, but please read the directions on dosage moving forward. In addition, get that problematic tooth examined and restored. If left untreated, the pain will become excruciating.
