Yes, you can: Visit your dentist. Any other treatment is a temporary relief. A tooth pain won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. Visit a dentist ASAP for definitive diagnosis and treatment.

Please see a dentist: Toothaches are usually due to an underlying condition that requires dental care. If OTC pain meds are not working, it means your problem is escalating. A possible infection is present, and if so you will soon be swollen and in additional pain. Why suffer? Call for an appointment now and feel better soon.
