Tooth infection: If you have a dental abscess or root canal in process, know that antibiotic penetration into the tooth isn't that good. You should call your treating dentist and be re-evaluated immediately in case you need a root canal procedure or dental extraction.

Dental infection: You need to go to a dentist to get evaluated asap. Dental infection like any other infection is not healthy.

Don't stop: Don't stoop taking antibiotic until it's all gone. Antibiotics/analgesics don't cure dental infections, just manage severity and spread of infection and symptoms. Call your dentist now and ask for help. You will need root canal/crown or extraction/implant/crown. Pills, potions, salves, ointments, whether rx or otc won't work...Please call your dentist.
