While not enough for a firm diagnosis of MCTD, an early connective tissue disease cannot be ruled out. On symptoms, Ehlers-Danlos Syn will have to be included in the differential diagnosis. Establishing early with a rheumatologist may help as sometimes it takes years for such diagnoses to surface.
