Positive RNP test: Mixed connective tissue disorder or mctd is an autoimmune disease, cousin to lupus and other diseases. Fatigue, joint swelling, sjogren syndrome, raynaud's phenomenon(spasm of arteries in fingers), are common findings. Blood tests show a positive ANA and often positive rnp antibodies. The diagnosis and treatment are usually carried out by a rheumatologist.

Could be: Depends upon your symptoms. Rheumatologic diagnoses are founded on a clinical syndrome supported by testing, not testing then hunting for symptoms. I suspect the doc who ordered these tests can explain them and how they relate to your condition.
