How accurate are ani calculators? my score was -4.146 1.5% before my meld hit 24 (currently at 30 today) dr says drinking is the only thing that caused liver disease. i disagree because i've never been a heavy drinker. what are your thoughts?

ANI is used to differentiate ALD and NAFLD. By NCBI website: ANI can help distinguish ALD from NAFLD with high accuracy; when ANI was combined with GGT, its effectiveness improved further. Besides alcohol, liver disease may be caused by many other illnesses such as viral infection, drug toxicity, etc. You might misunderstand your doctor, he probably meant alcohol use affects the ANI calculator.
