I think i pulled a heart muscle what do i need to do to treat it?

You don't "pull" a heart muscle. There are muscles between the ribs or on the chest wall you might injure and these will self heal. Moist heat applied to the area several times daily can improve blood flow to the area to heal faster but heat can also increase any pain involved. Just not exerting yourself to the point deep breathing is triggered can reduce pain some.

A pectoral muscle strain sounds likely based on your description and while nagging, such conditions fade away slowly in time. If condition persists seeing your doc will be best.
