Most likely : it is unlikely a complication from the cath procedure 4 months out. ULtrasound would have detected a hematoma or pseudo aneurysm. It most likely is a pulled muscle. See your PCPS if pain continues.

Possibly: I'm assuming the groin pain is on the same side as the catheter site & that your doctor was concerned about a blood clot. I need to know how soon after the procedure you started feeling groin discomfort, what physical activities you engaged in recently and the quality of the pain (dull, sharp, radiating?)
