Muscle spasms : A pulled muscle can feel like chest pains. This can be due to neck nerve root irritation with tight muscles due to spasms. Also people who are in pain can have high heart rates. You need to have a family dr. Examine you to make sure that you do not have any heart problems. Have the neck checked and may need to see a rehabilitation medicine specialist.
