I started an antibiotic yesterday for strep, he switched me to a zpack today, ive i my had 3 of the other antibiotic. should i start my zpack tonight?

You did not tell us what the reason antibiotic was changed, but yes, you can start the Z-pack today.

Strep throat is diagnosed by a rapid strep or throat culture. Strep is typically treated with Amoxcillin, unless there is a bad reaction or an allergic reaction to penicillins. ZPak is usually the second option. I agree, if switched, ZPak can be started immediately. If these antibiotics are not working, there could be an alternate diagnosis
