Have you heard anything about atenolol causing bladder/kidney irritation and resulting in blood and leukocytes on a dipstick test?

not the atenolo: Medications like atenolo (beta blockers) are pretty neutral when it comes to the kidney. They won't cause a urinary tract infection. See your doctor about it - its not the med's fault.

So now dipstick shows no protein but trace red blood cells! Urinalysis showed trace protein with wbc and leukocyte. Dr said dipstick result doesnt mean much! Does this mean lupus or something?
