Dipstick test does not show red cells but degradation products from them and is frequently false positive. . If the microscopic exam did not show any RBCs then your doc is right. Lupus is a long stretch- pl dont try self diagnosis as it is mostly wrong and unnecessarily worrying. Enjoy life
