So now dipstick shows no protein but trace red blood cells! urinalysis showed trace protein with wbc and leukocyte. dr said dipstick result doesnt mean much! does this mean lupus or something?

This is not enough information to provide a good answer. Questions you have already submitted are not connected to this one.There are many possible underlying causes for the results you provided; trace blood cells may not mean anything bad. This alone does not mean lupus.Your doctor can provide the best answer with more information; or re-submit with reason for testing, any symptoms, more history.

Dipstick test does not show red cells but degradation products from them and is frequently false positive. . If the microscopic exam did not show any RBCs then your doc is right. Lupus is a long stretch- pl dont try self diagnosis as it is mostly wrong and unnecessarily worrying. Enjoy life
