If the prescription says “40mg bid”, this means 40mg twice daily. This would typically be taken as 40mg in the morning and 40mg in the evening. If you have further questions about how to take your medication, you can call the doctor who prescribed it or the pharmacist who filled the prescription. Best of luck to you!

40 mg in the morning and 40 mg in the evening as bid corresponds to twice daily. The pharmacist where you get your prescription may be able to clarify as well.
