It improves: Your body tends to get use to it's long acting effects but if you cannot endure a week or two of your symptoms then your better off changing to the immediate release form. The good thing about the SR is that it dose not have to put your through those up's and downs.

Talk to your doctor: You have some options. You could try the immediate release Wellbutrin (bupropion) and a lower dose. If this kept you awake, you could add Trazodone at night 50-150mg. Other options include Ambien or Restoril. Again, talk to your doctor. Best wishes!

Talk to dr: Assuming there is no other stress keeping you awake, .and that sleeping is not usually a problem possiblly it haas to do with the WellbutrinSR. You should certainly tell your dr and alter dosage to fix this. If you dont talk how ill the dr know? Staying awake at night for a week sounds like a sufficient try.
