I suffer from chronic anxiety and take hydroxyzine 25mg for panic as needed. works well. i was prescribed pamelor 25mg each night for migraine prevention. it's helped my anxiety to a degree. is it safe to take hydroxyzine with this medication?

Although your two medications can be used together, additive side effects such as drowsiness or dizziness might be encountered. Anticholinergic side effects will likely occur at higher dosing causing "brain fog". A different approach to symptom management might include cognitive-behavioral therapy and/ or biofeedback.
