Panic attacks : Can be debilitating to the point people will not leave home. You need to be seen by somebody who is an expert in cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt) check the net, see for help groups, therapist and do not neglect as i said it could have serious life consequences if neglected of not properly treated. Do not delay!

Better meds for that: In my experience, the best treatments for panic attacks are a combination of a long acting benzodiazepine, such as clonazepam, along with an ssri medication at an appropriate dose for anxiety, followed up by gradual exposure to the feared activity.
