There is still no specific treatment for Covid-19 infection. Recent studies showed steroid do not change the outcome. If your sister has underlying disease(s) or older than 65 and she has had symptoms less than 5 days, she is eligible for monoclonal antibodies at ER. Otherwise, monitor her oxygen level, go to ER if number drops below 90, take Tylenol and cough syrup, as needed for T, pain & cough.

She could go to the hospital to ascertain if monoclonal antibody treatment is warranted. She may take acetaminophen for pain and fever, no more than 4 g in one day, no alcohol. If she develops breathing difficulty, get her to a hospital promptly. Hope you are vaccinated, if not get vaccinated. Once the illness is over, your sister should also get vaccinated. Both of you take Flu vaccine also.
