In my experience many teens fear all needles and many will get very nervous and some will faint. Even with just drawing blood. This is the reason I always drew blood when a person was sitting or lying down. When someone tells you xx happened after the COVID Vacc ask for the information: how many had the problem out of how many total got the shot who were my son’s age in Ponce? Weigh risks.

Certainly normal to ask questions about medical procedures, vaccines, etc.,especially for your children. However, the Covid-19 vaccine has been shown to be safe and effective for adults and children 12-17. There are no more children fainting following this vaccine than any others...it does happen occasionally. Laying down for a period of time after the vaccine will help. Please protect your child!
