I think a team approach for investigation for possible muscular dystrophy or other neuromusculature disorder is best obtained at a department of neurology at a university hospital near you. The other issues of low wbc & low vitamin D levels will also be addressed by appropriate members of the team.

Results of CK, white cell count and vitamin D level are race dependent. AAs often have high CK total, lower white cell count and vitamin D level than Caucasians. If your son is white, that CK total is slightly high; however, the upper limit also depends on the laboratory. Those results can not fully explain your son's symptoms. If your son is AA, those results are not much outside the norms.
