A member asked:

I have already been diagnosed with non atrophic chronic gastritis via endoscopy. but separate doc doesn't think its bad. still have occasional pain in the upper right quadrant (my right) of my abdomen (and only there). is that normal for gastritis?

Symptom from that location (right upper quadrant) is not typical gastritis pain. Liver and its accessory (bile duct and gallbladder) are in that location. If the pain is shallow, it could be originating from the rib cage.
