I recently got an upper endoscopy and the biopsy results came back as mild chronic inactive gastritis. i don't think this is all that is happening. there is also pain on both sides of my lower abdomen. can gastritis be causing this as well?

It is not likely that the endoscopy findings are explaining the pain that you experience both sides of the abdomen. Your gastroenterologist remains your best resource in finalizing the diagnostic work up.

After Endoscopy have mild chronic gastritis. All biopsies were benign. Much better after couple of months but feel little nausea in mornings then wears off.also belch up pieces of food with sour taste after evening meal. Couple of tums help that?
