yes under certain circumstances. It would be manifested as bruising of skin, black stools and in other ways. Taking ANY drug /medicine without MD supervision (yes aspirin is a drug) is dangerous. Blood tests can indicate it

Aspirin has not been shown to be effective in primary prevention of heart disease. The side effect you mention is real and not predictable by usual lab tests. Discuss the risk benefit ratio of aspirin with your doctor.
