A CT with contrast assesses the brain tissue. To assess the vascular supply to the brain, you would need an MRI angiogram or CT angiogram to see those blood vessels in order to assess for aneurysm. That would involve a different test than what you had and can be ordered by your physician.

It appears appropriate to consider additional studies at this juncture. But also ask about polycystic kidneys, as a potential risk factor.
