I trust you're being evaluated & advised by a cardiologist. If not,consult one. Did your outpatient cardiac monitor document those rapid heart rates. If so, what did the cardiologist or MD diagnose? A rather rare endocrine tumor, pheochromocytoma,can cause sudden spikes of high BP & rapid heart rates. There are tests for tis. Overactive thyroid is another possibility. You need continual follow-up
