Had ekg echo blood tests & holter monitor for two weeks all normal. still experience heart racing randomly off & on & palpatations. what could this be?

Depends: If you had symptoms during the monitoring and no correlating arrhythmia was seen, then the sensation was not truly due to heart racing. However if you did not have symptoms during monitoring, you might consider doing longer monitoring.

Arrhythmia: You did not say if you had any palpitations during the holter monitoring recording period. If you did, the arrhythmia (if there is one) should have been caught on paper. If not, you need to be monitored until you do catch it on paper. There are exetnded monitors, event recorders, etc., that can help - see your doctor.
