I have kidney aa amyloidosis. is that dangerous? is it serious? what's the prognosis/outlook? any advice?

The prognosis of this is unpredictable. It can be treated and a good percentage of people do respond. Stay under the care of a good MD who has experience in this disease. Good luck to you.

Kidney disease is very common in AA amyloidosis (previously known as secondary amyloidosis) . The response to treatment and renal prognosis are depending on the treatment of the underlying inflammatory disease. I wonder what your primary disease is.
