Been having foamy spit or phlegm for a few months. it usually thins if i drink water, but will return shortly after. dry mouth, but no cough, or other symptoms. i do have post nasal drip. should i be worried?

Make sure you are not dehydrated and do not work or sleep in a very dry environment. If the phlgm persists please see a ENT or your MD for the cause.

The post nasal drip may result in this symptom. Discuss an allergy work up, nasal saline and nasal steroids with your physician. A virtual consultation with Health tap is available. A sample of the phlegm may be sent for studies. Avoid smoke exposure, dust, mold and other triggers.
