Possibly: If the post-nasal drips are very salty, then you may end up with a sensation of dry throat like after swallowing a mouthful of seawater. On the other hand, your dry mouth may also be from nasal congestion leading to mouth breathing. You need to get checked out for possible sinus infection as well if the problem persists for more than 10 days or gets worse in the interim.
