Risk for cancers induced by an isolated CT is extremely low anywhere in the 1:2000 to 1:10000 per different studies, check cancer.gov. It is highly unusual to have as screening for colon cancer a CT scan instead of a colonoscopy. Cancer related anxiety is extremely common, talk to your doc in order to avoid whenever possible tests that may worsen your anxiety.

A CT scan will not measurably increase your risk for cancer above you natural risk. You can reduce your risk of cancer by adopting healthy habits: Eat a mostly vegetarian diet, avoid alcohol, tobacco and street drugs, avoid excessive exposure to sun, get HPV vaccine, exercise 30 minutes each day, drink enough water so your urine is mostly colorless.
