Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis is a condition in which the connective tissue around the air sacs of the lung become thicker and stiffer, leading to progressively more difficulty breathing. In some people, this progression goes quickly, in others more slowly. There are medications to slow this progression. Talk to your Pulmonologist about your specific situation and the options available.
