If your description is indeed accurate, head to an urgent care center, or ER, as pituitary bleeding can be ominous, and a sign of impending pituitary apoplexy. Contact your physician and discuss this further. It would be unusual for a prolactin secreting pituitary adenoma to bleed, but your report is indeed worrisome.

A "prolactinoma" is essentially a pituitary tumor, and hemorrhage is not uncommon. If the levels of prolactin are over 100, surgery may be indicated, as visual problems can occur with continued growth. Production of prolactin is caused by pressure on the pituitary, which allows suppression of the inhibitory factor governing prolactin production. Get a neurosurgical consult for guidance.
