Please get the MRI: Please follow the plan your doctor has made with you. A pituitary tumor needs to be ruled out, and the best way to evaluate for it is to get a dedicated pituitary MRI with contrast. Then make sure to follow up with your doctor.

Good chance: This is a high level and is most likely due to a pituitary adenoma. A MRI is absolutely needed in your situation. Follow up with your doctor accordingly. Good luck.
