I have eustachian tube dysfunction which causes my ear to thump when i hiccup. ive recently started hearing a constant whooshing when im lying down and its in time with my pulse. etd related? can this go away?

Hello. This can be Eustachian tube related but it can also be linked with blood vessels that increase in size/volume when you lie down and your blood volume redistributes. See your ENT doc who can do a complete evaluation and possibly order an Audio/Tymp and flow-imaging from your neck, through your skull base/bone and into the brain.
