The after-effects of vaccination with and of the current modalities ( Pfizer,Moderna and now J&J booster) will commonly cause symptoms similar to inflammation, resulting in muscle aches, lethargy, etc. Myocarditis is a rare complication, and is best assessed by a pediatric cardiologist, but the symptoms described do not reflect myocarditis at this point.

More likely this symptom is related to muscular back pain. Apply a heating pad, discuss use of ibuprofen with your physician. If the pain worsens or persists, please see your physician. A virtual consult with Healthtap is available.
