A member asked:

My 12 y/o daughter got her second dose of pfizer vaccine 3 days ago, she had mild aide effects that lasted only 6 hours. i am still very scared for the possibility of myocarditis, how long do i have to keep an eye on her for that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The incidence of myocarditis from vaccination is very low---the infection itself causes 37x higher rate of myocarditis than the vaccines. Typically the first week caries the highest risk..after that should be less and less and I would say that after 4-6 wks, there should not be an issue. Good luck.
