It may depending on how bad the myocarditis is. It has been very rare as far as I know after most vaccines. You did not say which vaccine. You should be getting both COVID and influenza now. You chances of dying in a car accident driving to get your EKG are larger than being ill with myocarditis. There are many more common causes of myocarditis. Tell us why suspect myocarditis. Although ECG abnormalities are noted in myocarditis, they are non-specific and not diagnostic. More serious ECG abnormalities may also be noted such as bundle branch block, AV block etc . An echo may be more useful in recognizing myocarditis through wall motion abnormalities, chamber enlargement etc. Pericarditis may also be present. Your physician will certainly be able to discuss these with you.
