Running pains: Exercise is fantastic, but some exercises are tough on joints. Running is one of them. A good family physician with training in sports medicine or an orthopedic physician should evaluate for the source of your dysfunction and determine if you can run safely by changing technique or footwear or running surface. They may recommend a physical therapist be involved.
