My wife started showing symptoms on 10/6/21 and i left town that day to come back on 10/9/21 and did a home test on us both--she came back positive and i have been negative until today 10/14/21 and i am still not showing symptoms---can she get covid?

Symptoms of what? You did a home preg test or COVID-19 test when you got back.. We just need the facts sir. but we need them all. She can get COVID unless she has been vaccinated she is much less likely to have to go in hospital or die.

The incubation period may be as long as 14 days, but most patients show symptoms by day 5. Watch for signs of cough, fever and shortness of breath. You indicated that you are now positive and symptoms may develop . Self isolate from others and rest at home until well. Symptoms may be mild or there maybe no symptoms at all. Re infection is unusual but can occur.
