COVID 19 testing: Throat tightness can sometimes be a symptom of airway narrowing. . Get emergency care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, significant & persistent chest pain or new-onset of confusion. In South Africa- one consults with a medical provider who will determine need for COVID 19 testing. Consult your local primary care provider or you can use telemedicine for individual consultations.

See below: Covid-19: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Please contact your doctor by phone for further evaluation and mechanism for testing in your area. Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately. Wish you good health.
