It is best to use social distancing, a mask and a separate bathroom to decrease the spread of the virus. You will be less contagious when there are no symptoms, no fever and no runny nose. Treat symptoms, drink fluids, rest and watch for signs of shortness of breath If the children become I'll, please test and follow up.

I consider the kids already exposed by the time you tested positive and masking and isolation unnecessary. If the kids had a chronic illness, immune deficiency, or were otherwise impaired they might need special precautions but you have done all you need. Mask if you must leave the house for 5 days. Live life without the fear of this scourge since all are in the lowest risk groups.

The issue with not isolating from the rest of the family, is that they should be wearing a mask around others for 10 days from last exposure to you…so if you don’t isolate (even though they were already exposed), that 10 days could turn into 20 days (if they are still being exposed to you on your 10th day).
