A member asked:

Since i have had a utetine polyp removed in the past, results were not cancer, does that make me more susceptible to uterine or cervical cancer?

Uterine polyps are caused by overgrowth of endometrial cells. They can be cancerous, precancerous or benign. Having multiple benign polyps does not predispose you to cancerous or precancerous ones. Unfortunately each polyp must be removed and biopsied in order to determine which are benign and which are not.
