A heart attack at 21 ??? The entrance to the stomach sits just to the left and behind the heart. Most chest pain at your age is "heartburn" unless proven otherwise. This is triggered when stomach acid backwashes into the swallow tube & causes irritation. Follow-up with your regular doc & sort this out. Treatment is available.

Because the ER doctor could not find any evidence of a heart attack on the studies mentioned, X-ray is not a typical study used to rule in or out heart attacks. Once a heart attack is ruled out, work up as outpatient as to what else may be causing your symptoms is needed, ideally with your doc.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. If you are overweight, losing weight is imperative. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
