For prevention of future strokes, aspirin is used for its blood thinning effect for this purpose. Confirm with your neurologist or primary care doc as well.

Aspirin interferes with the function of platelets and reduces the risk of clots formation and prevent strokes from clots. You should consult with your primary care provider to make sure that there are no contraindications to taking aspirin. Wish you good health!
