Stroke: Erin not all strokes caused by high blood pressure. Can also be cause by a clot lodging in an artery of the brain. I assume you were worked up for causes of clots? There are a multitude of things that can lead to clot formation (heart valve issues, holes in heart walls, meds, clotting function problems). It is a vast list. If increased salt not enough, there are meds to help increase pressure.

Well,..: It depends on how low your BP is. Most young women (more than men) can have low blood pressure that is totally normal and without any symptoms. The Brain controls our physiological functions, so there is the chance the Stroke affected your BP physiology. If no symptoms, your fine, as low BP without symptoms is ok and high BP is more a risk for future Strokes. Meds are available if real low.

Definitely not norma: OK you are 28 years old female than is diagnosed with stroke that not normal my advise see a hematologist a doctor specializing in blood you might be having some abnormal clotting mechanism that causing your stroke very common in female specially if they taking birth control pills or hormone replacement it is urgent you do this because ASA does not protect you
