Hi i have a question about the covid 19 vaccine i've seen some people have gotten bell's palsy after recieving the vaccine. i've had bells palsy years ago as a teen and wanted to know if it's safe for someone who's had it before to receivethe vaccine?

The cause of Bell's Palsy is unknown. There is evidence that it is related to prior herpes infection, and it may have more than one cause. However, there is NO association between Bell's Palsy and the covid nineteen vaccines. In other words, if you follow a large group of people, half who received the vaccine and half who didn't, just as many in each group will develop Bell's Palsy. Get vaccinated

Bell's palsy is caused by a herpetic infection activation and NO evidence of any direct cause by COVID-19. Your prior history is NOT a contraindication for vaccination. Best to have the jabs!
